Looks quite cool. I'm not really understanding all the media hype for it but it does look like a fantastic film and we're considering going to see it soon.

Re: The Hunger Games
I got the books today, and I'm about a third of the way through the Hunger Games. The book has a lot more detail and emotion than the film which I'm liking.

Re: The Hunger Games
Went to see this last Monday, truly epic film! However, looking in the papers, I think TC, it may not be the best thing for you to watch, as it's been written as terrifying and unsuitable for young children. Myself, I thought it was fine, but it is slightly gory. But if you're up for it, it's a really good film.
Re: The Hunger Games
It would have been a 15 had they not cut 7 seconds of footage in the UK version from the US version.

Yeah, they're sneaky at getting into films that they're too young for.

I'm now two-thirds of the way through Catching Fire. It's so good, I have to stop myself reading it as I'm saving it for the car journey back to the Isle of Wight and if I read anymore I'll just finish it!

The film was really good bbut they did miss out quite a few bits in it. The book is brilliant though but personally Catching Fire is in my opinion the best of the two that I have read. I just started Mockingjay on Monday and I will post my thoughts on it when I have finished.

Re: The Hunger Games
Watched the film on saturday and ill be honest, as far as storylines go it was pretty solid though some bits confused me. Like no general explanation of what was truly happening and after I watched it I had to ask lots of questions before I found out what it was all about so they could have made it a bit clearer for us new to the series! It was enjoyable and worth seeing to see what all the buzz was about but I think it was more hyped up then how good it really was, and not one film id consider a classic in years to come. Plus I got charged a tenner, usually its £6. Got me adult robbing sons of.... but yes no more cinema for me for a while, not a bad film but ending seemed confusing to though I understand that is to lead onto future films from the series. Might read the books if I get the chance.
